Jane Goodall, the renowned conservationist who was best known for her work with chimpanzees, died on Wednesday. She was 91.
The Jane Goodall Institute shared the news, stating that Jane had passed from natural causes while in California on a speaking tour.
“Dr. Goodall’s discoveries as an ethologist revolutionized science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world,” the statement reads.
Jane is survived by her son, Hugo, and three grandchildren. Rest in peace, Jane. 🐒
