Jane Goodall, the renowned conservationist who was best known for her work with chimpanzees, died on Wednesday. She was 91.⁠

The Jane Goodall Institute shared the news, stating that Jane had passed from natural causes while in California on a speaking tour.⁠

“Dr. Goodall’s discoveries as an ethologist revolutionized science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world,” the statement reads.⁠

Jane is survived by her son, Hugo, and three grandchildren. Rest in peace, Jane. 🐒⁠
