From Lahore to the National Stage
Born on October 4, 1985, in Lahore, Pakistan, Aishah immigrated to the United States at just six years old. She was raised in Indianaalongside her younger sister Afiah Hasnie, and graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 2002 before earning a journalism degree from Indiana University.
Her early life was shaped by faith, discipline,and big dreams. It’s a combination that would later drive her to one of the most competitive industries in the world.
Finding Her Voice in the Newsroom
Hasnie got her start as an intern at WICS-TV, then landed her first full-time role at WANE-TV as an investigative reporter and anchor. Her work quickly drew notice, she earned an Emmy nomination and built a reputation as a relentless truth-seeker.
In 2011, she joined FOX 59 in Indianapolis, where her consumer watchdog segment Taking Action for You made her a trusted name in local news.
But the real breakthrough came in 2019, when she joined Fox News in New York as an overnight anchor and correspondent. By 2021, she’d climbed even higher, becoming a Congressional Correspondent. And now she serves as a Senior National Correspondentbased in Washington, D.C.
