In a developing scandal that has embarrassed the left and astonished the right, Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) is currently under investigation following a complaint that brought to light questionable donations received via ActBlue, a significant fundraising platform for the Democratic Party.
Her opponent, conservative attorney Sholdon Daniels, has revealed further information regarding Crockett’s alleged donation fraud on X.
To provide context, the conservative Coolidge-Reagan Foundation lodged a complaint with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) on March 26, 2025, prompting the FEC to initiate an official inquiry into Rep. Crockett’s campaign.
This investigation centers on a 73-year-old donor named Randy Best, a Texas resident who is said to have made several contributions to Crockett’s campaign, totaling over $16,000. However, when Sholdon Daniels inquired with Mr. Best’s wife about these donations, she claimed to be unaware of their occurrence.
In a video posted on X on March 11, 2025, Sholdon Daniels elaborated on his personal investigation into the dubious donations to her campaign, detailing his visit to the Bests’ residence to hear their perspective. While recording himself en route to meet the Bests, Daniels remarked, “It’s quite strange that someone from this area would contribute such a significant amount to a candidate in our district. Perhaps they have a unique connection to the district. Let’s go find out.”
