Blind since childhood, Baba Vanga – often called the ‘Balkan Nostradamus’ – was a Bulgarian mystic known for her chillingly accurate predictions. Among her many prophecies, she foresaw the tragic death of Princess Diana, the 9/11 attacks on the Twin Towers, and the Chernobyl disaster.

Baba Vanga, who passed away in 1996, made predictions that some believe spanned into the distant future, all the way to the year 5079. One of her predictions for the year 2025 points to potential unrest in mainland Europe. She also predicted that human telepathy would eventually become a reality, no longer confined to science fiction.

She also made a notable prediction about Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India, who was a controversial political figure. “The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire,” Baba Vanga foretold. Remarkably, on the day of her assassination by her Sikh bodyguards, Gandhi was wearing a saffron-colored saree.

Another of her predictions was about the 44th President of the United States, whom she claimed would be a black man. She also foresaw Donald Trump’s assassination attempt during his campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

On July 13, 2024, Trump was shot at during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He was hit in the ear, while a volunteer fire chief was killed, and two others were wounded. “For 15 seconds, time stood still,” Trump later said. “This vicious monster unleashed evil, but the villain did not succeed.”

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was spotted by officers with a rifle at the Butler Farm Show, and a SWAT officer had identified him as a ‘suspicious person’ before capturing a photo of him.

Despite the attack, Trump was unharmed and later checked out at a local medical facility. He later said in his inauguration speech, “I was saved by God to make America great again.”

What did Baba Vanga say about this attempted assassination? While she didn’t specifically predict a gunshot, she did mention that Trump would be struck by a mysterious illness that would leave him deaf. Although the injury did not cause hearing loss, the striking resemblance between her prophecy and the event remains remarkable.
