Authorities say a shocking incident unfolded late Saturday night when officers pulled over a visibly intoxicated woman — only to discover her newborn baby in the back seat. The infant, just six weeks old, was strapped into a car seat while the mother allegedly swerved dangerously down the road.
Witnesses claim the vehicle nearly collided with several others before police intervened. Officers reported the smell of alcohol inside the car and said the woman’s speech was slurred.
