After a misdiagnosis of an eye infection, Brogan’s condition worsened, leading to amputation of her left foot to save her life. Despite fitted with a prosthetic foot, ongoing infection caused immense pain in her remaining leg, forcing a tough decision. The family ultimately chose to amputate the remaining leg as well due to the infection’s severe impact. Brogan, now nine, is adapting remarkably to her new reality.
