In a simple move that produced a massive meltdown, Trump re-posted a meme on social media that suggested foreign-born citizens, including the infamously woke former Somali in Minnesota, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), could be barred from public office.<\/p>\n

This comment aligns with comments from both the president and other Republicans suggesting that the entitled and notoriously woke Democrat might face removal from the country she seems to despise and wish to change so much. Predictably, Omar came to her own defence with cheap moral outrage.<\/p>\n

In the post that started the entire controversy, a special media user asked<\/a>, \u201cWould you support the idea of foreign-born citizens being barred from running for office? Yes or No.\u201d Included in it were pictures of Rep. Ilhan Omar and Omar Mahmood Fateh, who tried running for mayor of Minneapolis and is in the Minnesota Senate. President Trump reposted the image, which many took as a sign of approval.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the interaction. A prominent conservative said, \u201c\"\ud83d\udea8\" JUST IN: President Trump signals foreign-born citizens should be BANNED from holding elected office in the United States. As we reported<\/a> at the American Tribune, this is far from the first time Trump has suggested that foreign-born citizens, particularly Ilhan Omar, should be deported. \u201cBetween [Rep. Jasmine Crockett] \u00a0and Ilhan Omar\u2026 and, you know, I met the head of Somalia. Did you know that? And I suggested that maybe he\u2019d like to take her back. And he said, \u2018I don\u2019t want her,\u2019\u201d he joked<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Melting down in epic fashion, the Minnesota Democrat took to Twitter to express her dissatisfaction. Omar posted, \u201d From denying Somalia had a president to making up a story, President Trump is a lying buffoon.
