His breakout came with Mark of the Devil<\/em>, leading to iconic roles in Flesh for Frankenstein<\/em>, Blood for Dracula<\/em>, and collaborations with directors like Fassbinder, Lars von Trier, and Dario Argento.<\/p>\n

A familiar face in Hollywood, he appeared in films such as Ace Ventura<\/em>, Blade<\/em>, and My Own Private Idaho<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on his work, he once joked, \u201c100 movies are bad\u2026 and 50 movies are good.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kier remained openly gay throughout his life, saying, \u201cNo one ever asked about my sexuality\u2026 all that counted was the role.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n
