Britain\u2019s acting legend Dame Judi Dench has shared a deeply moving update about her eyesight, revealing she\u2019s now unable to see the stage or television \u2014 not even to watch her dear friend Celia Imrie on\u00a0The Celebrity Traitors<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 90-year-old double Oscar winner, who suffers from macular degeneration, confessed: \u201cI can\u2019t see any more. When I go to the theatre, I can\u2019t see. Hopeless.\u201d She spoke candidly during an appearance at the Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmunds, where she serves as patron.\u2287<\/p>\n

Though she can no longer enjoy performances visually, Judi hasn\u2019t lost her spark for storytelling.
