A local D-grade socialite and sponsored content hawker Narcie Systich has caused a stir on Instagram this week after using the \u2018Melbourne\u2019 filter on a picture that was clearly taken in South Australia.<\/p>\n
The instagram story was promoting some skincare cream or shampoo or some shit, we don\u2019t know or care, but what\u2019s apparently caused the upstir is the filter of a rival city being used.<\/p>\n
\u2018I can\u2019t believe it!\u2019 Narcie told the Adelaide Mail after all the other local news outlets informed her that this was not actually news, \u2018Of my 23.4 thousand followers, nearly 600 of those are real accounts, and almost half of those are from Adelaide and they\u2019ve turned against me!\u2019<\/p>\n
\u2018You should have seen the hate I was getting in my DMs,\u2019 Narcie continued, unprompted \u2018things like \u201cbae, why u using that filter?\u201d, \u201comg hun, Melbz? Srsly?!\u201d, and \u201cu hot, wanna chat?\u201d, I didn\u2019t realise that trying to be progressive and inclusive would make me a victim!\u2019<\/p>\n
Systich has since removed the instagram story, but has continued to receive messages implying she is a traitor.<\/p>\n
