Catastrophic flooding along the Guadalupe River has left at least 20 girls missing from Camp Mystic, an all-girls camp in Hunt, Texas. Among them are two North Texas girls, Eloise Peck and Lila Bonner, according to their parents.<\/p>\n

The river rose an astonishing 26 feet in just 45 minutes following severe storms that dumped up to 15 inches of rain. Rescue teams, including 14 helicopters and 400\u2013500 personnel, are searching the area. Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick emphasized, \u201cThey could be in a tree. They could be out of communication.\u201d<\/p>\n

Camp officials confirmed some campers were safely evacuated by helicopter, while others remain unaccounted for. Families have been notified, and the search continues with urgency and hope.<\/p>\n

Kerr County has declared the flooding \u201ccatastrophic,\u201d with at least 13 confirmed deaths and more residents still missing. Officials urge Texans to pray for the girls and all those affected by the disaster.<\/p>\n
