A mother\u2019s instincts proved lifesaving for Melbourne resident Lilly Munro. At 24 weeks pregnant, she felt something was wrong with her unborn son, Lennox, and rushed to the hospital with her fianc\u00e9, Brodie Moles. Doctors discovered a severe cardiac issue and immediately induced delivery. Born at just 1.8 pounds, Lennox\u2019s survival odds were 50\/50.<\/p>\n

To stabilize him, doctors placed Lennox in a plastic bag to regulate his body temperature and connected him to life-support tubes. Watching their fragile baby fight for survival was heart-wrenching for Lilly and Brodie.<\/p>\n

Lennox remained in the hospital for 111 days, during which Brodie managed tasks at home, including caring for Lilly\u2019s three other children, while Lilly stayed by Lennox\u2019s side.<\/p>\n
