Actor Mel Gibson has presented his own theory regarding the LA wildfires, and it left many baffled.<\/p>\n
The Mad Max star lost his \u00a312million Malibu home in the fires.<\/p>\n
That prompted a reaction from him that led to backlash.<\/p>\n
\u201cI can make all kinds of horrible theories up in my head<\/p>\n
\u2013 conspiracy theories and everything else \u2013 but it just seemed a little convenient that there was no water.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd that the wind conditions were right and that there are people\u00a0ready and willing and able to start fires,\u201d he said, believing that\u00a0the destruction could have been \u201ccommissioned\u201d to clear homes off valuable land.<\/p>\n
Following the reports that a suspect was arrested in relation to starting\u00a0one of the fires, the actor asked if that person, whose identity hasn\u2019t been\u00a0revealed, was acting on their own or he could have been \u201ccommissioned\u201d to do what he had done.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey seem pretty well equipped, some of these people that they\u2019re catching.<\/p>\n
