A guy walks into a bar and orders two shots. He drinks both and leaves. He does the same thing every day for a while.<\/p>\n

One day, the bartender asks, \u201cWhy do you always order two shots?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The guy says, \u201cMy brother and I used to drink together all the time, but now he lives far away. So, one shot is for me, and one is for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This goes on for a while, and then one day the guy only orders one shot.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The bartender worries and asks, \u201cWhat happened? Is your brother okay?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The guy replies, \u201cYeah, he\u2019s fine. I just quit drinking.\u201d<\/p>\n

A duck waddled into a pub and asked for a beer and a ham sandwich.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The bartender stared and said, \u201cHold on a sec! You\u2019re a duck!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s pretty obvious,\u201d the duck replied.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cAnd you talk!\u201d shouted the bartender.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cAnd you hear well!\u201d the duck said. \u201cNow, about that beer and sandwich?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOh, right, sorry,\u201d the bartender said, pouring the duck\u2019s beer. \u201cWe don\u2019t get many ducks around here. What brings you in?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cI\u2019m working at that construction site over there,\u201d the duck explained. \u201cI\u2019m a plasterer.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The bartender was surprised, but let the duck be when he pulled out a newspaper to read.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The duck read the paper, ate his food, and left. He did this every day for two weeks.<\/p>\n
Then, the circus came to town. The circus manager came into the pub, and the bartender said, \u201cHey, you\u2019re with the circus, right? I know a duck who\u2019d be a star in your show! He talks, drinks beer, eats sandwiches, reads the paper\u2026 he\u2019s amazing!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cIs that right?\u201d the circus manager said, handing the bartender his card. \u201cTell him to give me a call.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
The next day, when the duck came in, the bartender said, \u201cHey Mr. Duck, I think I found you a fantastic job that pays really well.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cI\u2019m always interested in new opportunities,\u201d the duck said. \u201cWhere is it?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cAt the circus,\u201d the bartender answered.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe circus?\u201d the duck asked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cYep,\u201d said the bartender.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cThe circus?\u201d the duck asked again. \u201cThe one with the big tent?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cExactly!\u201d said the bartender.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cWith the animals in cages and people living in trailers?\u201d asked the duck.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s the one,\u201d said the bartender.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201cAnd the tent is made of that heavy fabric with a hole at the top?\u201d the duck asked.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
