Makallie Elizabeth Durham, a babysitter from hell, was sentenced to life in prison without eligibility for parole or any other form of release from incarceration for the killing of two-year-old Kristian Harris.<\/p>\n

Durham, 25, of Iuka, pleaded guilty to capital murder and several counts of child abuse.<\/h2>\n

At the time Durham\u2019s boyfriend call an ambulance, Durham had been babysitting Kristian and his 11-month-old sister, who was also all bruised, for several days.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As per the Alcorn County deputy sheriff\u2019s office, little Kristian was unresponsive. He was rushed to the hospital where he died two days later.<\/p>\n

The tragic incident took place in September of 2022, and Durham\u2019s sentence came two years later.<\/p>\n

The court hearing determined that the babysitter from hell hit the toddler in the head on three separate occasions, September 9, 12, and 13.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

She was also hitting the baby in the same manner.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On the day emergency services were called to a property in the city of Corinth, where the kids were staying, it was determined that Kristian was severely bitten by the babysitter.<\/p>\n

Following her son\u2019s passing, Kristian\u2019s mother spoke of Durham\u2019s audacity to send her a message begging her to help her to avoid serving jail time at the time of the arrest.<\/h3>\n
