- In one of the most disturbing child abuse cases in recent memory, a father has been charged with murdering his infant son by stuffing a baby wipe down the child’s throat — a crime that has horrified both authorities and the public.
Emergency responders were called to the home after the baby stopped breathing. Paramedics attempted CPR, but it was too late. During the investigation, doctors made a gruesome discovery: a baby wipe lodged deep in the baby’s airway, blocking all oxygen.
The father initially claimed it was an accident — that he had tried to clean the baby’s mouth. But investigators quickly found inconsistencies in his story and signs of previous abuse.
Now, he’s facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder and child endangerment.
